Check below for some great hostel-travel tips to make the most
out of your stay:

• Give yourself lots of time at the Ferry terminal. Plan on
  getting to the Ferry at least 20 minutes before departure time
  to check your bags or inquire about bus travel.
• Be prepared for a one-highway region. Leave
  plenty of time to get to your destination. If you're biking, let
  traffic thin out for at least 10 minutes before starting out from
  Langdale - your lungs and nerves will thank you for it.
• Follow the rules of the road. Don't cycle or hike beside each
  other, and try to stay as close to the shoulder as possible.
  There are a lot of curves and narrow spots, so be aware.
