Plumper Cove/Keats Island
A snug anchorage on the south end of the Coast, northwest
side of Keats Island. A developed park with walk-in campsites,
fire pits, boat dock, mooring buoys, hiking trails, picnic
facilities, drinking water and toilets. Great pebble beach
swimming, beachcombing, kayaking and fishing.
Halkett Bay Marine Park
East side of Gambier Island in Howe Sound. Mooring, dinghy
floats, pit toilets, information.
Tuwanek Point Marine
Park
Up the Sechelt Inlet, on the south side of Salmon Inlet.
Walk-in camping, beach, swimming, hiking, scuba diving, kayaking,
fishing. Drinking water and toilets. Look for Native pictographs.
Buccaneer Bay
Southern tip of North Thormanby Island. Walk-in campsites,
toilets, protected waters for paddling or swimming, sandy
beach. Large sheltered bay provides safe anchorage, shoreline
is accessible only by dinghy.
Simson Marine Park
Undeveloped park covers most of South Thormanby Island.
Forested upland, pebble beach, impressive view from Spyglass
Hill, good swimming.
Smuggler Cove
By water through Secret Cove on the south side of Sechelt
Peninsula, or drive 9 km north of Sechelt along Highway 101,
turn left onto Brooks Road and follow the signs. Easy 1.5
km walk to five waterfront campsites. Pit toilets and boat
launch for small carry-in craft. No water, so bring your own.
Garden Bay
Dinghy tie-up, anchorage, drinking water, toilets. Lovely
harbour for swimming or kayaking.
Princess
Louisa Marine Provincial Park
What a trip to get there, but worth every bit of effort! Walk-in
campsites, dock and anchorage or mooring buoys, swimming,
