Heritage Boats at Sea Cavalcade July 25

Wooden and Handcrafted Boats are long a part of Coastal history

With the cancellation of the annual Wooden Boat Festival, the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives has stepped in with a new event for 2010 in conjunction with the Annual Sea Cavalcade Festival held every third weekend in July:

Heritage and Hand-crafted Wooden Boat Festival
When: Sunday, July 25th from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Where: Holland Park, Gibsons, B.C.
What: New and vintage small wooden craft from all over the Sunshine Coast.

The Sunshine Coast Museum and the Sea Cavalcade Society are collaborating to present the
Heritage and Hand-crafted Wooden Boat Festival.
The show will feature new and vintage small
wooden craft from all over the Sunshine Coast. They will be shown Sunday, July 25th, from
10:00 am to 4:30 pm on the flat, easy-access Sunday Market area in Holland Park in Gibsons
Landing. For those interested in boats, handcrafted woodwork, or local history and traditions,
you won’t want to miss this event.
