Adventurous food at the Wild Bistro in Gibsons

We stopped in today at the Wild Bistro in Gibsons to find out what Ian and Kera were up to heading into the holiday season. Turns out they’ve struck a foodie nerve with the addition of Ian’s new ‘Just Feed Me’ menu item.

Many of the Wild’s guests are regulars – people who love the funky art shows, the great live music, and of course, the food! Menu items entice and tease: The Dictator, Hot for Teacher, Ace of Clubs, King Richard at lunch; Buffalenta, Grand Laurseny, Vegemania, Machos (nachos, Ian style) have been tested by these stalwart fans. To reward the fidelity of Wild Fans, Ian has come up with the plan of ‘Just Feed Me’: come on in for dinner, let him know any allergies or severe dislikes, and he’ll do the rest. He won’t even be able to tell you what that is, since he’ll decide literally, spur-of-the-moment in the kitchen.

I am so up for it, and if I hadn’t been putting the video together and posting about it, that would have been MY dinner tonight. Soon… with pictures to follow.
