The Sunshine Coast is all about Community!

DIRECTORY OF COMMUNITY LISTINGS
Search the Bigpacific directory for community groups and organizations operating in or serving the Sunshine Coast. For Tourism listings, Shopping & Retail, or Business & Professional listings please see the main directory. This is a new section, so please be patient while we continue to add new businesses as fast as we can get them entered!
If you would like to be a part of our Coast Directory, please call 604-885-5913 or visit our Advertising section.
What makes us tick
A peculiar quirk in our neck of the woods is all the sub-communities that are sprinkled along Hwy. 101 from Port Mellon to Egmont. Walk a half a mile one way out of Sechelt and you're in Selma Park. A half mile the other direction and you've stumbled into West Sechelt, thank you very much. To get an idea of the sheer number of unique neighbourhoods this 86-kilometre stretch of coastline holds, check out the list below! All-caps names are our major centres.
Let's go on a tour, starting at the south-eastern end and working our way to the Earl's Cove ferry terminal at the northwest and see what we end up with:
Whew! That's a lot of communities for a 60 mile stretch. We're possessive about our little corners, and it's definitely one of the great charms of living here.
