By bus: Malaspina Coach Lines offers service from Vancouver to Gibsons, Sechelt and Pender Harbour. Buses leave from the Pacific Central Station bus terminal (on the corner of Terminal and Main in Vancouver). You can also board at the corner of Burrard Street and Georgia Street (right downtown) or at the north end of Lions Gate bridge. Buses drive onto the ferry at the Horseshoe Bay terminal. There currently are no vehicle rental agencies in Gibsons or Pender Harbour. Sunshine Coast Transit connects with the ferry terminal on a regular basis throughout the day and the ride out to Sechelt and the rental agency is approximately 40 minutes. For long-term rentals, if staff is available there may be pickup at the terminal for an additional fee. Please call for details.
